Prof. Vijay Natarajan is awarded DST Swarnajayanti Fellowship in the Engineering Science category in 2016

Prof. Vijay Natarajan, Department of Computer Science and Automation, is awarded the DST Swarnajayanti Fellowship for 2015-2016 under the Engineering Science category. Under this scheme “a selected number of young scientists, with proven track record, are provided special assistance and support to enable them to pursue basic research in frontier areas of science and technology”. Prof. Vijay Natarajan and his research group (http://vgl.csa.iisc.ac.in) study and design geometric and topological structures for efficient and effective visualization of scientific data.
