Dr. Ananth Govind Rajan (Chemical Engineering): Young Researcher–AI based Use Case/Large Model Development requiring HPC
For research in high-performance computing and AI/ML for computational catalysis, nanotechnology, and materials science.
Named after former President, renowned scientist, and Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, and presented by HPE and the Kalam Foundation, these awards recognize outstanding achievements and pioneering contributions in high-performance computing across scientific and engineering domains. Now in its ninth year, the awards are a prestigious industry recognition decided by an eminent jury panel.
This recognition continues IISc’s consistent presence among Kalam Award recipients over the years, underscoring the Institute’s sustained leadership in HPC and AI.
