For Assistant Professor positions, the prospective candidates must
The position of Assistant Professors will be in PB-3 i.e. `15,600-39,100 with a minimum pay of `30,000/- with a Grade pay `8000/- plus allowances. After the completion of three years service in PB-3, they will be placed in PB-4 i.e. `37400-67000 with a Grade pay of `9000/- plus allowances.
For higher positions, the prospective candidates, in addition to having a Ph.D in the relevant area, are expected to have made outstanding contributions in the chosen area of research and also guided doctoral students.
The position of Associate Professor will be in PB-4 i.e. `37,400-67,000 with a minimum pay of `42,800/- with a Grade pay `9500/- plus allowances.
The position of Professor will be in PB-4 i.e. `37,400-67,000 with a minimum pay of `48,000/- with a Grade pay of `10,500/- plus allowances.
Women candidates and applicants belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes are especially encouraged to apply.
The Institute provides partial support to cover relocation expenses for a new faculty member, and also provides a significant start-up research grant. In addition, the Institute provides Cumulative Professional Development Allowance (CPDA) of `3 lakhs for every block of 3 years on a reimbursable basis to meet expenses for participating in both national and international conferences, paying the membership fee of various professional bodies and contingent expenses. Loans for the purchase of computers, reimbursement of a part of the expenses on personal telephone/mobile phones are also available. The faculty and their families are also covered by an attractive Contributory Health Services Scheme. Modest on-campus accommodation is also provided to new faculty members.

Job Description: The RAs are expected to develop new experiments in their subjects for the teachers of High School to University. In addition, they should carry out research with coordinators in their respective subjects with the basic available in the TDC, IIScChallakere Campus.

Qualification: Regular MSc degree in their respective subjects; Research experience is desirable. Job Description: PAs are expected to demonstrate experiments to the teachers from High School to Universities. They are expected to assist in developing experiments related to BSc and MSc degrees. They should also help carry out research with subject coordinators.

Qualification: BE/BTech in Chem. Engg., Electronics and Communication or allied disciplines Job Description: PA’s are expected to set up set up chemical reaction systems/ thermodynamics and gas solid reaction systems, develop simple experimental set ups for college/university chemistry/physics. Should be able to provide computational assistance in areas such as Density functional theory and Quantum Chemical Calculations.
