Prof. S. K. Chatterjee Award, instituted in the year 2010, is awarded annually to an outstanding woman researcher or industrial worker in any discipline of Science and Engineering, who is either (i) an alumna of IISc, or (ii) a present or past faculty member of IISc. The award comprises a cash prize of Rs. 40,000/- and a certificate.
