Information to JEST Theoretical Computer Science candidates

  • It is noticed that the JEST Theoretical Computer Science results were released on 6th May 2023 accordingly all such students who have qualified the JEST Theoretical Computer Science paper/examination may attend the interviews for the Research program (CDS/CSA) on 22nd or 23rd May 2023.
  • Candidates has to bring print out of their online application form, JEST result score card, copies of all academic qualification(s), certificate in respect of SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PH (if applicable).
  • All such candidates should report to the Academic Section on the above-mentioned date(s) for further instructions.

Information to JEST candidates :

  • It is noticed that many of the JEST candidates did not update their JEST (Physics) results during the updation window provided for the same accordingly all such students who have qualified the JEST examination and are within the cut off announced may attend the interviews for the Research program (Physics/Astronomy & Astrophysics/High Energy Physics/Molecular Biophysics/Inorganic and Physical Chemistry/Sold State and Structural Chemistry) on 22nd or 23rd May 2023 and for Int. Phd. (Physical Science) on 30th May, 2023.
  • Candidates has to bring print out of their online application form, JEST result score card, copies of all academic qualification(s), certificate in respect of SC/ST/OBC/PH (if applicable).
  • All such candidates should report to the Academic Section on the above-mentioned date(s) for further instructions.

Note: In case an applicant has scored a cutoff higher than the one indicated and they have not received a call letter/email communication/communication on the applicant’s admission portal interface, for a written test/ interview, the applicant may please send an email immediately to the Academic Section at admission.acad@iisc.ac.in or to Deputy Registrar, Academics at dr.acad@iisc.ac.in at and also to the chair of the concerned department to which they had applied on or before 3rd May 2023.

IISER Aptitude Test is introduced as a new mode of Entry for admission to the Four Year Bachelor of Science(Research) programme in the Academic Year 2023-24. Candidates who wish to apply through this mode of entry must apply separately at both the IISc admission portal and IISER admissions 2023 portal.
