NAMMA BANGALORE
The Soul of a Metropolis
Abstract: What makes Bangalore different from other cities in India? What are some great restaurants for authentic Karnataka food? Where do you go to find a community of wine lovers in Bangalore? What makes Shivaji Nagar special? How does Bangalore deal with its heritage buildings? Is there a nature community in Bangalore? Where do you go birdwatching in this city? What are some great places to shop? Who are the movers and shakers of this city? In lucid lively prose, author Shoba Narayan writes about Bangalore in her latest book “Namma Bangalore: The Soul of a Metropolis”, the city she has lived in for close to two decades. In this talk, the author will take us through her book.
