Prof A G Ramakrishnan, Department of Electrical Engineering, is elected as an INAE fellow in recognition of his original contributions to the field of human-computer interface technologies (document analysis and recognition, speech synthesis and automated speech recognition) with particular reference to Indian languages and their social impact.
Prof. Vijay Natarajan, Department of Computer Science and Automation, is elected as an INAE fellow in recognition of his contributions to the field of scientific visualization and computational topology, specifically for his work on the development of efficient algorithms to compute topological structures like the Reeb graph and Morse-Smale complex and applying them towards visualization of scientific data.
Prof. D. Roy Mahapatra Department of Aerospace Engineering, has been elected a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Engineering (INAE) in recognition of his distinguished contributions to the field of Engineering.
Prof. Radhakant Padhi, Department of Aerospace Engineering, has been elected as a Fellow of INAE for his outstanding contribution in developing cutting-edge algorithms in nonlinear and optimal control, followed by successfully applying those to solve several challenging real-life problems in aerospace, biomedical and mechanical engineering.
Prof. N. Ravi Shankar, Materials Research Centre, has been elected as a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Engineering (INAE) In recognition of distinguished contribution to Engineering.
Prof. Satyam Suwas, Department of materials Engineering, has been elected a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Engineering (INAE) for his outstanding contributions towards design, processing and characterization of various engineering materials for the defence, nuclear, and transportation sectors; and for providing excellent scientific solutions to many of the engineering problems pertaining to the manufacture of such materials.
