Mr. Abhishek Burman, Founder & CEO General Aeronautics Pvt Ltd, has close to two decades of experience in the field of Aircraft design & Project management. Prior to GA, has worked in Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA, Ministry of Defence) for 17 years and was Deputy Project Director & Head of Systems Engineering for Light Combat Aircraft(Tejas) in his last role at ADA. The role involved techno-managerial skills, team management and multiple organization coordination for a one of it’s kind project of developing fighter aircraft in India. He has made significant contributions in design & development of all the future programs of ADA. At National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) he was spearheading Aerodynamics & Configuration Design towards concept study of Regional Transport Aircraft (70/90 seater). He has more than 50 technical publications on Aircraft Design and Analysis. General Aeronautics operates from Entrepreneurship Centre, Indian Institute of Science.
Abstract :
Drones have arrived and are here to stay. The webinar focuses work at General Aeronautics on Drones and applications and usage of Drones for Societal Applications in the areas of MedTech, Agriculture, Rapid transport of payload for urban purposes etc. The webinar also discusses the feasibility or issues involved in usage of Drones for disinfection esp in time of pandemic like COVID-19
