Intra exhibition 2018, the annual photography competition

IISc Photography Club invites  the students, staff and faculty members  to participate in Intra exhibition 2018, the annual photography competition of IISc and its sister institutions  ICTS, NCBS, RRI, NIAS, JNCASR and TIFR. The entry to this competition is free for all.

This year, we have two themes:

• Social Documentary (Classic Street and Candid/Environmental Portraits)– Street photography, also sometimes called candid photography, is photography conducted for art or enquiry that features unmediated chance encounters and random incidents within public places. An environmental portrait is a portrait executed in the subject’s usual environment, such as in their home or workplace, and typically illuminates the subject’s life and surroundings.
• Nature (Landscape, Macro and Wildlife)– It involves photographs taken outdoors and is devoted to displaying natural elements such as landscapes, wildlife, plants, and close-ups of natural scenes and textures.
