Palash Dey, Ph.D. graduate from Department of Computer Science and Automation, wins the ACM India Doctoral Dissertation Award for 2017


Dr. Palash Dey who completed his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Automation has won the coveted ACM India Doctoral Dissertation Award for his Ph.D. thesis  entitled “Resolving the Complexity of Some Fundamental Problems in Computational Social Choice”, under the supervision of Professors Y Narahari and Arnab Bhattacharyya. His thesis was selected for the award from among all Ph.D. dissertations which were awarded in Computer Science in all Indian institutions during August 2016 – July 2017.
