Prof Arindam Ghosh receives Infosys Prize 2020 in Physical Sciences

Prof Arindam Ghosh (Department of Physics) has received the prestigious Infosys Prize 2020 in the Physical Sciences category.

He has been recognised for his work on developing atomically thin 2D semiconductors for next-generation electronics, and for creating a new platform for light-matter interaction that “impacts quantum technologies and sensing in a fundamental way.”
