Prof. Amaresh Chakrabarti of CPDM received Outstanding Research Award from Careers 360

It is the Careers360 2018 Outstanding Faculty Award for being the “Most outstanding Researcher” in the field of Decision Sciences during 2015-2017.

The selection is based on a composite score generated by evaluating the academic output in SCOPUS indexed journals for the year 2015-17, citation count and h-index.

The weights for output, citation and h-index are 33.5, 31.6, and 34.9% respectively. This has been arrived at by averaging of differential weights assigned by a postal ballot from top 20 academics of Indian origin from Prof. R A Mashelkar to Prof. Nirmalya Kumar.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs.50,000 and a citation. Hon’ Union Minister of HRD Shri. Prakash Javadekar gave away the awards on the 20^th of March 2018 at New Delhi.
