Public Lecture & Discussion on Indian Face Perception Project (IFPP)

The Indian Face Perception Project (IFPP) is an initiative aimed at understanding how we perceive faces, and the striking individual differences in this ability from face blindness to super recognition. The launch event will feature:

  • A short video feature of a person with face blindness.
  • “A clinical overview of face blindness” by Dr. Thomas Issac, Clinician Researcher, Centre for Brain Research, IISc.
  • “Face perception: knowns and unknowns” by Prof. SP Arun, Neuroscientist, Centre for Neuroscience, IISc.
  • “Indian Face Perception Project overview” by Dr. Vaishnavi Mohite, Project Lead, Centre for Neuroscience, IISc.
  • Q&A session followed by refreshments.
