Location: Seminar Hall, RBCCPS
Title of the lecture: Guidance and control of aerospace vehicles
Description: In this talk I will discuss about the guidance and control algorithms applied for the autonomous operation of aerospace vehicles. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) are gaining importance due to their widespread application in areas like search and rescue, surveillance, autonomous landing, indoor navigation, cooperative missions etc. This talk will focus on the following problems:
1. Cooperative radar deception by a group of UAVs
2. Path planning using Voronoi diagrams
3. Autonomous landing of a Quadrotor
4. UAV search using gradient descent algorithm
5. UAV localization
Some of the theoretical aspects will be discussed and simulation and experimental results on available hardware platforms will be presented.
About the speaker:
