Centre for Infectious Diseases Research – Infosys Wing inaugurated by Smt. Sudha Murty

Smt. Sudha Murty, Chairperson, Infosys Foundation, visited IISc on 25th January 2019 and inaugurated the “Centre for Infectious Diseases Research – Infosys Wing” at IISc, in the presence of Prof. Anurag Kumar, Director, IISc, and faculty members.

This building is supported by a generous CSR grant from the Infosys Foundation aimed at enhancing infrastructure and broadening research in the area of infectious diseases. The grant has enabled IISc researchers to make vital advancements in understanding and tackling infectious diseases such as malaria and tuberculosis, and also increase awareness through various training programs and workshops.
