Title : Bringing up an Institution called Company Successfully

Speaker: Prof E S Dwarakadasa<
Chairman Karnataka Hybrid Microdevices Ltd

Abstract of the Webinar:

After a long stint at Academics, it is really a daunting task to change over to be an entrepreneur. While you train students and see them flourish, you see your company grow and your employees look up to you for their growth and livelihood. The equivalent of students is the products and services of your company. The challenges in the two roles are entirely different. However, the approaches to achieve excellence seem to be very similar. The various obstacles in achieving this objective in building up a company are described and some of the factors that contribute to a healthy growth of the company are highlighted. The importance of balancing the Men, Machines and Money in assuring a steady growth is always emphasised. However, there are other factors that are far more important than the 3M’s. Some details of how the Karnataka Hybrid Micro Devices was handled and grown to achieve technical excellence are described
