My Queer Life: A Love for Learning in and Beyond Academia
Abstract: I will talk about my experience of engaging with life-long learning, and its intersection with my queer identity, while I was in academia and in the years after moving away from it. I will also talk about the struggles around decisions to continue in academia, and the currently available means, spaces and resources for queer students in academia to find meaningful and emotionally fulfilling lives.
