Cinematic Relations and Cultural Exchange between India and Spain
Abstract: What is the relationship between Spanish and Indian audiences and film industries? “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” (Zoya Akhtar, 2011) was a significant success both commercially and critically, winning several awards including the Filmfare Awards for Best Film and Best Director. The film narrates the journey of three friends through Spain in search of happiness. It drew substantial attention from Indians towards Spain, resulting in a huge increase in tourism to the country. However, what is the impact of Indian films in Spain? This discussion will explore these questions and provide space for questions and comments.
