Invites you to a talk on
Conservation in Siang Valley
Abstract: The Siang Valley in Arunachal Pradesh is increasingly being transformed by dams, highways, and other large-scale development projects. This talk highlights our work across the state, where we combine camera traps, acoustic sensors, and community-based mapping within a strong ethical framework. Grounded in the Forest Rights Act, our approach seeks to empower Indigenous communities, safeguard biodiversity, and enable sustainable pathways of development.
